How does it work?
The Clinical Picosecond Nd:YAG Laser, employing cutting-edge technology, offers an advanced method for tattoo removal. By delivering ultrashort picosecond pulses into the skin, this laser achieves remarkable results. These pulses generate a non-thermal photomechanical effect, effectively breaking down the tattoo ink into minuscule particles resembling dust. Subsequently, these particles are effortlessly eliminated by your body’s lymphatic system. As a result, your skin becomes clearer with minimal treatments, all while preserving the integrity of the surrounding skin. Notably, this technique is highly effective on tattoos of all colours., employing cutting-edge technology, offers an advanced method for tattoo removal.
Is it painful?
Yes and no. It depends where the tattoo is. Some areas on the body hurt more than others (like bony areas – ankles, lower spine etc) however it mainly feels rubber band being snapped against their skin.
How many sessions do I need?
With the Picosecond Nd:YAG Laser as little as 4-6 treatments can provide effective tattoo removal. The variables are the type of ink used, and how old the tattoo is. The other thing is, you may be happy to have a faded tattoo. Others may want the tattoo removed fully.
After Care
It is important to keep the Tattoo Removal area Clean and Dry. To accelerate the healing process of the Tattoo Removal area we highly recommend the aftercare products that you will be offered at the time of the tattoo treatment. Once the skin has fully healed, this is followed up with a subsequent treatment (usually around 6 weeks).
